Pay the Piper

Turns out that earnest money cheque was just for show and they don’t want that. They want an immediate wire of the equivalent amount sent to the Title Company’s bank account. Good thing you have a plan already set up for that!

In our case that meant calling the currency broker and initiating the currency conversion and wire.

OK, now you have a couple of weeks to get ready for closing while the seller (bank if a foreclosure) and the Title company do their work
